Driving positive performance management
Event Information
About this Event
Too often managers focus on the negatives or telling people what they’re doing wrong, instead of focusing on how to create the behaviours that will make sure that performance increases.
This session will firstly explain how our brains work and how to get the performance management message across while still maintaining motivation. It will address positive performance management that should be ongoing rather than just when it comes as a precursor to potentially ending the employment relationship. Then, we will explore the obligations of managers and employers; the actions that you need to take to safeguard high levels of performance, the warning signs to take notice of and the steps you need to take now.
