Event description
Discover how innovative models of care accelerated by the pandemic are advancing more equitable patient experiences

About this event

The pandemic has demonstrated the healthcare industry’s ability and appetite to adopt models of care that meet patients where they are – whether online, at home, or in the community.

In this webinar, Artefact sits down with Sara Vaezy, Chief Digital and Growth Strategy Officer at Providence and Dr. Shantanu Nundy, physician and Chief Medical Officer at Accolade, to explore the innovative and accelerated models of care here in the U.S. that are impacting not only patients today but also the patient experience in the years to come.

We’ll explore:

  • Opportunities and risks in distributed care models such as hospitalization at home; digital models such as telemedicine for behavioral health; and decentralized models such as subscription-based care
  • What these evolving models of care mean for the patient experience, their relationship with care providers, and greater health outcomes
  • How evolving care models that center the patient might support greater inclusion and equity, creating new opportunities to reach underserved populations

This is a participatory webinar where audience questions and engagement are highly encouraged.

Sara Vaezy is the Chief Digital & Growth Strategy Officer for Providence leading digital strategy and roadmap, digital partnerships and business development, commercialization, technology evaluation and pilots and digital thought leadership as a part of the Providence Digital Innovation Group.

Prior to Providence, Sara was at The Chartis Group, a health care management consulting firm, where she advised clients on enterprise strategic planning, payer-provider partnership, and the development of population health companies. She holds a BA in Physics and Philosophy from the University of California Berkeley, and an MHA and MPH in Healthcare Policy from The University of Washington’s School of Public Health.

Shantanu Nundy, MD, MBA, is a primary care physician, technologist, and business leader who serves as Chief Medical Officer for Accolade, which delivers personalized navigation and population health services to companies that cover over 2 million working Americans. Neeti Sanyal is an Executive Creative Director at Artefact, investigating the business factors and market conditions that make innovation possible. With more than 15 years of experience in product design, development, and commercialization, Neeti analyzes why some products take off and others peter out, what methods and processes result in products so meaningful that we couldn’t imagine living without them, and how we can harness these abilities to change our lives for the better.

Before Artefact, Neeti worked at PATH, a global health organization where she developed go-to-market strategies for several medical technologies for communities in China, Brazil, India, and South Africa. Neeti earned her MBA from the Wharton School of Business.
