Driven to Achieve – Book Talk with Nikki Butlin
Date: Tuesday 4 November 2025
Venue: Captain Fawcett, King’s Lynn
I was born in King’s Lynn. I also spent eight unforgettable years at Captain Fawcett, the place that taught me as much about grit as it did about Gentleman's Grooming.
On 4th November, I’m coming home to share the stories behind my new book Driven to Achieve: the missteps, the wins, and the strategies that turned “sink or swim” moments into forward momentum. Hosted at the wonderful and enchanting 'Captain Fawcett's Emporium' the Right Hand Man will even be making an appearance himself!
Full of practical, funny, and frank tips for founders, leaders and ambitious doers who want stronger teams, better cash flow and a business that actually supports their life. You’ll leave with field-tested tools for resilience, clarity and execution, plus a nudge to finally do the thing you’ve been putting off.
Come for the nostalgia, stay for the know-how. And yes, there’ll be time for Q&A and book signing.
You’ll learn:
- How hypnotherapy, singing and motherhood shaped me
- How to turn challenges into opportunities
- Simple cash-flow habits that protect your business
- How to build a team that thrives and helps you to grow
Who it’s for: SME owners, team leaders, side-hustlers, and anyone ready to swap busywork for real progress.
I hope to see you there... Nikki
