About this event

After the success of LIGHT UP DOWNSVIEW and HANGAR SKATE, Northcrest Developments is excited to welcome back the public to The Hangar District with Drive-In Downsview: A Pop-Up Film Experience on the historic Downsview Airport Lands! Coming this May, guests will be able to enjoy a movie experience under the stars in Downsview’s Hangar District, each presented with a different community partner.

Grab your family and friends, pile into your car or bring lawn chairs, and enjoy a classic movie experience under the stars. Our pop-up drive-in movie event series features free snacks, a unique location on the Downsview Airport Lands, and a diverse selection of films that YOU voted on.

But that's not all - Drive-In Downsview is not just about entertainment, it's also about giving back to the community. Admission is by donation, with all funds going to local charities and matched by Northcrest Developments.

Don't miss this one-of-a-kind event series that combines the magic of cinema, the charm of Downsview and the opportunity to support local charities.

Please note that this will occur in light rain or shine. Severe weather or wind conditions may result in cancellation. Advanced communications will be given, in the case of cancellation.

Presented by Northcrest Developments, Just BGRAPHIC, the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, Councillor James Pasternak, the Philippine Legacy and Cultural Alliance, and Wilson Village BIA.

Northcrest Developments acknowledges that the Downsview Lands are situated on the Treaty Lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Traditional Territory of many nations, including the Haudenosaunee and Wendat peoples. We also recognize the enduring presence of many diverse First Nations, Metis, and Inuit peoples.
