Sleeping and dreaming provide a precious opportunity for psychological growth and spiritual awakening. By learning how to wake up in your dreams (lucid dreaming), you can transform the night into a profound opportunity to explore the nature of mind and reality — and have great fun while doing so.
PLEASE NOTE: Online ticket sales on Eventbrite have ended.
There will be a limited amount of tickets available at the door Saturday morning. If you are still interested in attending the program, please contact the event coordinator Diana Shane at email@example.com to “reserve” your ticket(s) at the door.
In this program you will learn the science behind lucid dreaming, the stages of sleep and how to use them, and how to engage “primetime dreamtime.” Every trick and tip will be discussed, from natural agents that heighten dreams, to electronic gadgets that wake you up to your dreams, to the latest apps that help you record them and also monitor your sleep patterns. Eastern and Western techniques for increasing dream recall, for developing dream incubation, and for triggering lucid dreams will be explored. You will learn the daytime and nighttime methods that show you how to use the night to transform your life.
The nocturnal meditations discussed in this program begin with lucid dreaming, progress into dream yoga, which develops in sleep yoga (waking up in deep dreamless sleep), which can evolve into bardo yoga (using the night to prepare for death).
We spend one-third of our lives sleeping, and enter the dream world nearly half a million times. This weekend will show you how take full advantage of “night school,” and the rapid transformation that can take place while you sleep and dream.
