"Dream To Dance" Open Call Dance Scholarship Auditions 2017 - Ballet On Whe...

Held annually in the spring and open to students throughout the City.

Ballet On Wheels Dance School will be hosting dance scholarship auditions for the upcoming 2017 - 18 Dance Season. Auditions will take place in our Cooper-Young dance studio on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. Auditioning students will participate in various dance technique classes as a part of the overall audition process. Full & partial scholarships will be awarded on the spot. Training will begin immediately. Please see below for other specific details:

*Students involved in weekly extra - curricular activities will not be eligible to audition due to the time requirements required of the dance scholarship with Ballet On Wheels.

Ballet, jazz or other dance shoes are required for the audition.

Audition registration will begin no earlier than 30 minutes before the audition at our BOW studios.

The audition class will be closed to all non-auditioning visitors.

Students do not need to have a prepared solo for the audition.

Students who obtain either a full or partial scholarship will be required to attend our Summer Dance Intensive in July.

The staff of BOW will meet with all selected scholarship recipients and their parents immediately after the dance scholarships are awarded.

If selected, students must be available to participate in multiple, weekly dance classes and other related events as a part of the awarded scholarship.
