Dream, Girl Screening
Tue, March 21, 2017, 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM CDT
Dream, Girl is a documentary showcasing the stories of inspiring and ambitious female entrepreneurs. It’s about the universal struggles women face: self sabotage, workaholism, perfectionism, wanting to be a good mother and have a successful business, among other things. The film, which screened at the White House ahead of The United State of Women summit, offers an inspiring look at what it takes to make it in the business world as a woman. It’s representative of the diverse culture we live in, which isn’t something that can be said for the majority of movies produced in Hollywood.
The film will be followed by a panel discussion with local female entrepreneurs about the movie and how it relates to their personal experiences. All proceeds will be donated to the Dream, Girl Fund: For Women's Media and Entrepreneurship.
