Description

Join artist Amber Vittoria for observational drawing and botanical illustration out in the Garden. Participants will be able to take home their artwork and contribute a drawing to a community exhibit that will be on view as part of "In Full Bloom" in July and August.

Please note this program has been rescheduled from June 20th to August 8th due to inclement weather.

Registration required. Drop-in upon availability.
Included with Garden admission.

***While the event is free, Garden admission is to be paid at Garden entry. Admission April through October: Adults – $6, Seniors (age 62+) – $4, Students with ID – $4, Children (ages 4 to 12) – $2, Children (3 and under) – FREE, Members – FREE.

Spend the evening at the Garden!
This event is part of the Garden's Summer Nights series where you can enjoy twilight at the Garden every Thursday, June 6 through September 12. On August 8 from 6 to 8pm, the Garden will also host a Flower Power Party: Orchid (included with Garden admission) with a special performance by Samba New York! Get a sneak peek at the Taiwan: A World of Orchids exhibit as you enjoy food and alcoholic beverages available for purchase, and create botanical crafts inspired by the exquisite beauty of orchids. Stay tuned for more details.

From June 12 through September 2, take selfies throughout the Garden with "Grown Up Flowers," larger-than-life, inflatable flowers by PLAYLAB, INC.

Go to the Visitor & Administration Building Gallery to see "In Full Bloom," featuring three artists presenting work inspired by the shape and form of flowers and bodies in nature.
