Testimonials

"Ellie let me explore new and exiting ideas and never restricted me in anyway. She supported me and encouraged me to be brave and myself when it came to approaching any acting work and taught me some useful techniques to get over my nerves. I will be going to east 15 in September and hope to further my learning in acting and performing in the years to come." Keyleigh, 18, now studying at E15

"I’ve had countess acting lessons from many different teachers over the years but Ellie has by far been the best. It can be nerve racking going to a new teacher for the first time and sharing work but in both group situations and one on one lessons Ellie made me feel comfortable and able to work freely. Her style is playful and practical and instead of improving just one speech or character the work I have done with her has helped me to evolve as an actor across the board. In the past I have left other teacher’s lessons feeling overwhelmed and inadequate, but every time I leave Ellie’s I feel better, more prepared and ready to work harder" - Eve, 21

"Having studied with Young Actors Studio for 3 years, I was taught by many influential people. Ellie had a particularly big impact on me as she was incredibly supportive and helpful, especially throughout the auditioning process. She was always very direct, honest and open which I really appreciated as I value her opinion very highly. It was awesome to work with someone who was so knowledgeable about so many different aspects of acting and the industry, I felt as if I always needed a pen and paper when she was around so that I could write everything that she said down! She taught me a lot about acting and myself and I'm sure that she will continue to do so in the future" - Rosie, 19

"Ellie has given me a process, it has helped me understand what I am saying and why I am saying it. She has helped me take more risks and make bolder choices in my speeches. The hour session was never long enough and am so glad I got to learn from her before going to drama school." Dean, 23, now studying at RADA
