Drake Department of Music presents: Christmas Madrigal Dinners
Christmas Madrigal Dinners, featuring the Drake Chamber Choir, Aimee Beckmann-Collier, conductor on Saturday, December 3 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, December 4 at 5 p.m.. All seats are reserved. Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, November 15 both online and at the Drake Fine Arts Box Office. Ticket sales end on Tuesday, November 29 for the Saturday performance and Wednesday, November 30 for the Sunday performance. Where is a good place to park for the event?
Please park in the Olmsted Commuter lot, number 16. Please click here for a map of the campus parking.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You do not need to bring your ticket to the event. Since all seats are reserved on the basis of payment, we will have a record of your reservation.
What is the refund policy?

What are my payment options?

Can I ask the Box Office to hold or reserve tickets for me?
Tickets for the Christmas Madrigal Dinners cannot be placed on hold, and must be paid for when requesting tickets. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
How does seating for the madrigal dinners work? Can I sit with my friends who purchase tickets separately?
Seating at the madrigal dinners is at tables of eight. The online order form, as well as the Fine Arts Box office staff, will ask you to list the names of all guests for whom you are reserving seats and making payment. (Each guest will have a place card.) If you wish to sit with others for whom you are not making payment, please list those in your reservation on the online form or tell the Box Office staff, if you are making a phone or walk-up reservation. Be sure to specifically list, by first and last names, the other guests with whom you want to share a table.
When do doors open for the event? How early should I arrive?
The doors open and we start seating for the event at the listed time that the event starts (for Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 5 p.m.). There is no need to arrive early.
What is the dress code for the Dinners?
You are welcome to wear whatever you wish. Most guests typically wear business casual, evening wear, or holiday attire to the dinners.
