Join Strong Families Alliance of Alameda County and Family Paths for Drag Queen Story Time featuring Snaxx, reading books for kids 0-9 years

About this event

In honor of Oakland, California's Pride Month, Strong Families Alliance of Alameda County (SFA) and Family Paths will host a virtual Drag Queen Story Time on Friday, September 24 from 3:30PM – 4:30(ish)PM with Bay Area drag queen SNAXX.

Families with children ages 0-9 years old will have the opportunity to hear Snaxx read a variety of books in support of our LGBTQ community and gender inclusivity.

All registered families will be entered into a drawing to win one of THREE Story Time prize bundles, including fabulous gift cards, books, healthy snacks and SFA and Family Paths items.

ZOOM LINK will be emailed to all registered attendees on Wednesday, September 23.

Organizer of Drag Queen Story Time with Strong Families Alliance & Family Paths

Family Paths, Inc. (formerly Parental Stress Service) is a non-profit organization of mental health professionals and dedicated volunteers that provide a number of mental health, counseling and therapy services to low income, multi-stressed individuals and families.

We are a multicultural agency committed to serving families of Alameda County regardless of age, ethnicity/race, financial status, language, sexual orientation, immigrant status, class, religion, gender, mental or physical ability.

We have served the mental health needs of children and families since 1972, and today we offer services from offices in Oakland and Hayward. These services include a 24-hour Parent Support and Referral Hotline, a 24-hour Foster Parent Advice Line, CalWORKs Case Management, Positive Parenting Classes and Family Yoga Project. We also provide counseling for infants, children, adolescents, adults and families.
