The American Pops Orchestra is joined by some of your favorite queens on December 19 at 9 PM for "Drag Out the Holly: A Holiday Drag Extravaganza". A concert broadcast filmed live at Meridian International Center, Drag Out the Holly features performances by RuPaul's Drag Race contestants Alexis Michelle, Jujubee, and Peppermint, as well as NYC queen Lagoona Bloo. The four queens are joined by singer-songwriter Bright Light Bright Light and Pennsylvania Representative Brian Sims to perform their own spin on holiday classics with The American Pops Orchestra.
Tune in for an evening hosted by Luke Frazier, APO's Music Director and Founder, featuring classic holiday songs from "Santa Baby" to "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas". Drag Out the Holly" will be broadcast free of charge and we appreciate your contributions that allow us to continue creating content and shows like "Drag Out the Holly".

APO is partnering with LGBTQ+ organizations and other nonprofits across the country not only to enjoy an evening of holiday cheer, but to use this performance as an opportunity to raise awareness of the organizations working for equality in the United States. Although this broadcast can be viewed free of charge, donations are encouraged to support APO and their partner organizations. Each partnering organization has been given a unique donation code that individuals can use to allocate 50% of their donation to that group.
"Drag Out the Holly" was filmed live in Washington, DC, at Meridian International Center following strict COVID protocols to protect APO's musicians and artists health and safety. This production was filmed outdoors in front of a small, live audience.

All donations made using the code “GAYSWITHKIDS” will contribute 50% of the gift to support the creation of The American Pops Orchestra's Musical Kids Kits. These music activity packs are created by APO and distributed via food pantries and diaper banks to share musical resources with underserved children.
