Drag for a Cause is a fundraiser for Chef Borges Scholarship which will be giving to the Somerville High School Culinary Arts Department.

Drag for a cause is a dinner and drag show to help raise money for the Chef Borges Scholarship. Chef Manuel Borges Passed away on November 20, 2018 at the Young age of 97. He is the reason that the Neighborhood Restaurant has the Amazing Grapevines over the patio and the amazing and famous Cream Of Wheat. We Will Donate proceeds to a culinary arts student of Somerville High School Culinary Arts directors Choice. Someone who is passionate about food as much as Manuel was. Our goal is to help a student or many to achieve their culinary goals! Tickets are $10 which will go directly to the Scholarship fund. There will be a full menu to order food and you will receive 10% your meal (excludes Alcohol). Doors will open at 5pm. Dinner :5:30-7pm with a could rounds of bingo throughout dinner. And to end the night a Fabulous Drag Show Hosted by Miss Gay Boston 2019 Amanda Playwith, Featuring Queen of Boston Pride 2019 Ania Bangkoks and the amazing and talented Dusty Moorehead. We will also have raffles with items from amazing local business. Come Join us for an amazing night full of love and laughs. if you can not make the event but would like to donate there is a donate option in the tickets!This Event is 18+21+ to Drink
