Dr. Takeo Kanade - Advanced Technology Presentation
The 2017 Kyoto Prize Symposium - Advanced Technology Presentation with Dr. Takeo Kanade will take place from 2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. at San Diego State University's Montezuma Hall in the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union.
Dr. Takeo Kanade (Advanced Technology) Roboticist; U.A. and Helen Whitaker University Professor, Carnegie Mellon University has made fundamental contributions to the basic theory of computer vision and introduced a series of innovative applied technologies in robotics including pioneering achievements in the field of automated driving and driverless cars. He has established the foundation of this academic field and has been advancing its frontiers consistently for many years.

DRIVING/PARKING DIRECTIONS: Complimentary parking is available in Parking Struction 6 on level 6 only.
From I-8, exit College Avenue and proceed south. After passing under the second pedestrian bridge, turn left on Zura Way (look for an event sign in the median directing traffic.) Continue on Zura Way and go past parking lots E, F and G. At the stop sign, continue straight ahead and look for Parking Structure 6 on the right. Enter structure and park in any available space on Level 6 only. Locate elevators on the west side of the garage. Take elevator to Level 3 and exit the parking structure onto East Campus Drive. Cross East Campus Drive, walk through the campus residential area to the end of the pathway. Turn right onto the pedestrian bridge. Walk across the pedestrian bridge, which ends at the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union. Montezuma Hall is located on the second floor.
*The walking distance from Parking Structure 6 to the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union is approximately two blocks. The pathway is moderately level.
