About this event
Join us for this annual community breakfast full of inspiration and music celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This event is free but registration is required. It is open to the public and is sponsored by Parkview United Church of Christ and White Bear Unitarian Universalist Church in partnership with Interfaith Action of Greater St. Paul.
Doors will open at 6:30am. Service of a light continental breakfast will begin at 6:45am. At 7:25 am, Dr. Hedy Lemar Walls, Executive Vice President of Social Responsibility for the YMCA of the North, will give the keynote local address. Vocal Ensemble Cantus will provide music. Attendees will then watch a big-screen televised broadcast of the keynote speaker at the 33rd Annual MLK Holiday Breakfast in Minneapolis sponsored by General Mills and UNCF.
