Event description

Description

This event is part of the 2017-2018 Charleston Jung Society lecture series.

Dreaming is a medium for human development, not simply through dream interpretation, but also through providing a window into a complex, multi-dimensional reality. Learning objectives include exploring with the audience how dreaming is an avenue to

(1) metaphysical encounters;
(2) transpersonal awakening;
(3) sacred knowledge;
(4) broadening and reshaping one’s worldview; and
(5) psychological/spiritual transformation.

Lee Irwin is a Professor in the Religious Studies Department of the College of Charleston, where he teaches world religions with an emphasis on Native American traditions, western esotericism, hermeticism, contemporary spirituality, mystical cosmology, and transpersonal religious experience as related to dreams, visions, and paranormal perception.
