Description

PRAYER SERVICE IN HONOR OF DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR.

Life's most persistent and urgent question is, "What are you doing for others?"
—Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

You are invited to join fellow Marquette community members at a special morning prayer service commemorating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the Chapel of the Holy Family, the program will include community readings from Dr. King's works, prayer, and song. A light breakfast will follow at 9:30 in the AMU rotunda.

Admission is free and open to the Milwaukee community, but RSPV is requested. Use the Register link above to sign up.

  • Date: Tuesday, January 22, 2019
  • Time and locations: SERVICE—8:30-9:30 a.m. (The Chapel of the Holy Family); REFRESHMENTS—9:30-10:00 a.m. (AMU Rotunda)
  • Admission: Free and open to the Marquette community.
  • Parking: The nearest paid parking is in the 16th Street Structure, located at 749 N. 16th St.
