Released in 2008 as a web series starring Neil Patrick Harris, this beloved show took the internet by storm. Black Button Eyes Productions has arrived back on the Chicago theatre scene after the pandemic hiatus with our Jeff Recommended authorized fan production of the beloved web series live on stage! Scheduled for 19 performances only at The Edge Theater, 5451 N Broadway in Chicago, this authorized fan production will be presented to benefit the Chicago charity Season of Concern. The show must close November 6!

“Directed with flair by Ed Rutherford and featuring a talented cast led by BBE regular Kevin Webb as the titular doctor, this is such a solid, fun, and faithful version of the original series that I would almost call it flawless...”

COVID MITIGATION:
All artists and crew members on the show will be fully vaccinated. Now that Chicago and Illinois are in 'Phase 5' of Covid recovery, we plan to offer all of our seats on sale undistanced, ***but we will require all audience members to be vaccinated and wear masks*** To emphasize, we ask that any audience member be at least two weeks past receiving the final dose of an FDA authorized COVID-19 vaccine on the date that they attend, and we will be verifying vaccination status at will-call (we currently plan to ask that vaccination card (or image of it) be shown for each attendee). The audience will be required to wear masks inside the venue. Black Button Eyes Productions and The Edge Theater are working closely together to ensure that both artists and audiences have a safe and pleasant experience.
