Dr. Ginsburg -- Reaching Teens (March 27, 2017)
Mon, March 27, 2017, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM PDT
Reaching Teens is an action-oriented road map to working with adolescents that can be applied to youth in our community. It includes tools and a strength-based approach based on building trust, a sense of safety and respect and establishing relationships with the youth we serve in order to best be able to meet their needs in a collaborative manner. With Reaching Teens, providers are able to choose from a variety of tools and strategies that best suit their individual styles in working with youth to meet their goals.
Dr. Ken Ginsburg is a pediatrician specializing in Adolescent Medicine at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He also serves as Director of Health Services at Covenant House Pennsylvania, an agency that serves Philadelphia’s homeless and marginalized youth.
