Downtown Willow Glen Holiday Bubbly Walk 2019

The Holiday Bubbly Walk returns again in 2019! Join us to kick off December and the holiday frenzy with a Saturday afternoon of shopping and sipping bubbly! Tasting sites along the avenue will be set up with sparking wine.

Please note the Holiday Bubbly Walk will be held rain or shine. No refunds will be given if it rains.

When and Where to Check-in ***** NEW CHECK IN SITE LISTED BELOW

Check-in for the event will open at 12:00 pm (event begins at 2 pm) so you can come early to avoid long lines and grab some lunch at one of our great restaurants before heading out to taste bubbly. Check-in locations will be at Goosetown Lounge (1072 Lincoln) and the old Le Boulanger (1351 Lincoln)

Please note that the check-in located at Goosetown Lounge will close at 3 pm, so if you arrive after 3 pm you’ll need to check in at the Le Boulanger Location.

Please do not forget your ID, as we will check ID for ALL attendees. At check-in you will receive a wristband, champagne glass and a map to all of the tasting sites.

Food
Please drink responsibly and taste the bubbly on a full stomach! Unfortunately, the Health Dept. does not allow tasting sites that are not restaurants to serve anything other than pre-wrapped individual servings of non-potentially-hazardous snacks, so most sites will not have a lot of food to offer to you. Many of our restaurants will have special deals for Bubbly Walk attendees, which will be noted on the map you’ll get at check-in, so be sure to stop and eat some along the way, too. Be sure to also stop at the nonalcoholic stations to hydrate with some delicious sparkling nonalcoholic beverages!

Bathrooms
Most of our tasting sites are fairly small businesses so do not have bathroom facilities that can handle a crowd so their bathrooms will not be available to Bubbly Walk attendees. Port-o-lets for Bubbly Walk attendees will be located at the front of the Bank of America parking lot.

Parking
Please consider taking a yellow cab or Uber or Lyft to the event instead of driving! If you do drive to the event please note that no ticket is needed for designated drivers accompanying you who will not be tasting. Free public parking is available in the Bank of America parking lot (disregard the 2 hour signs for that day). There are a few other lots in Downtown Willow Glen that also have parking or you can park on a nearby sidestreet. Just be sure to NOT park behind CVS or Orange Theory Fitness or you might be towed.

If it's a Wine Walk why can't I walk with wine?

ABC regulations prohibit walking between tasting sites with any wine in your glass. Thank you for either pouring out or consuming wine at each tasting site before strolling on to the next site!

Can I bring my baby?

We get asked this a lot! Sure, you can bring your baby to the wine walk. Please just be cautious with strollers as many of the businesses participating as tasting sites are somewhat small.

Does my friend who will not be drinking need a ticket?

No, anyone tagging along who will not be tasting wine does not need a ticket.

Refunds

No refunds will be given without at least 48 hours notice before the event.
