About this event
Announcing the third Downtown Shuffle Around in Bay City with Broadway vet and Bay County native Ryan VanDenBoom. On Saturday, August 27th, Ryan will be offering two open level tap classes being held at 10:00 am and 11:30 am.
Come take part in this unique event hosted in front of Populace Coffee at 810 Saginaw Street in Bay City, MI. All levels are welcome whether you're a longtime lover of tap dance, a dancer in another life, or just a curious individual itching to make music and rhythm with your feet.
If you'd like to sponsor a tap dancer please feel free to make a donation or stop by to witness the fun. This is a fundraiser for the Spark Artistic Mentorship Program which is a brand new performing arts award for black, indigenous and students of color in the community. All proceeds from this event goes directly to this fund in conjunction with the Bay Area Community Foundation.
