COLD WAR KIDS:

For nearly 15 years, Nathan Willett and Cold War Kids have fielded the shifts in the music landscape’s seismic activity. Over the course of releases on majors and indies alike, non-stop tours, the festival circuit’s biggest stages, massive radio and streaming successes, Cold War Kids have become a major part of the modern scene.

After the high water marks of 2014’s Hold My Home with its smash single “First” and the Capitol Records-backed LA Divine in 2017, Willett began to hone in on what was most exciting and integral to him and released New Age Norms in 2019.

New Age Norms’ eight songs explore the connective tissue apparent to him in the new norms of class, gender, race, and power that are creating our modern world. One such line -- “Don’t sit around and complain about it” -- provided the focal point for the first song on New Age Norms, “Complainer,” a call to do something constructive rather than dwell on all the things that might drag us down.

For Willett and Cold War Kids, even as today’s norms continue to shift at lightning speed -- in daily life, in rock and roll, and beyond -- the band’s dedicated approach to its art remains steadfast as it delivers messages of positivity while pursuing new values and a better world. - https://www.coldwarkids.com

GIVERS:

Since their breakout 2011 release "In Light", GIVERS have embraced a vision of life and love that, in the band’s early years, bubbled with the optimism of unchallenged youth. Ever the disciples of movement, GIVERS channels Afro-pop polyrhythms and art rock collage into raw, transcendent joy.

From the jump, the band achieved dizzying success. GIVERS toured world class stages, both international and domestic, becoming a fixture on the major festival circuit, including Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza, and winning appearances on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel Live! (The band’s electricity struck Neil Young, who caught GIVERS on Late Night and mused about it, in a stream of consciousness, in his autobiography.)

Now each in their early 30s — ragged, accomplished, philosophized — the band’s creative nucleus of Taylor Guarisco, Tif Lamson, and Josh LeBlanc has transitioned from celebrating life to probing its complications: the cruel fiction of unmet expectations, the deflation in opportunities lost and the elation in new ones found. In the process, they left the place of the band’s birth (Lafayette, La.) for the cultural kaleidoscope of New Orleans, now the site of their coming of age.

GIVERS now meet shattered expectations with rejuvenated positivity - a gratefulness borne of experience over naive optimism. Clear-eyed and earnest, they strip away the studio pretense of their previous efforts to reveal a simple, beating heart. - www.giversband.com

He’s respected as one of the top Open Format DJs in the industry, balancing a full-time performance career alongside his commitment as Brand Manager for Hot 107.9 (KHXT) — a Rhythmic Top 40 station often referred to as "the hottest” in its market. DJ Digital is both energetic and versatile, seeking to sizzle audiences with expertly tailored sets and sounds. What’s more — his ability to read a room and match a mood with wax creates the kind of energy celebrations thrive on.
