Tour Some Of The Homes In Boston's Hottest Neighborhood
Downtown Boston has been the hub of revitalization for the past 10 years. Public and private investment totaling more than $3.2 billion has renovated theaters, refurbished hotels, and attracted dozens of new restaurants. Thousands of new residential units have been added in the past decade, increasing downtown's residential population by 23%. An additional 2,000 units are slated to open in the next five years.
Discover why 8,000 people now call downtown Boston home, and why thousands more can't wait to join them, during the Downtown Boston BID's inaugural "Downtown: Home Where The Heart Is" home tour. On Saturday, May 11th, from 11 am-3 pm, residents will open their doors to showcase the best of downtown living.
This self-guided walking tour covers approximately 12 homes, and highlights all the amenities downtown has to offer: exceptional food, unique shopping, and world-class theaters all within walking distance. Stops along the self-guided tour, from 11 am-3 pm, currently includes:
- Millennium Place (580 Washington St.)
- Archstone Boston Common (660 Washington St.)
- The Kensington (665 Washington St.)
- The Hayden Building (681 Washington St.)
- 45 PROVINCE
- The Devonshire (1 Devonshire St.)
- The Grandview (165 Tremont St.)
