Check-in for the Open House begins at the BID Office at 40 North Pearl Street in downtown Albany, New York.
The Downtown Living Booklet, a guide sharing historical and modern day perspectives into all of the projects completed in downtown Albany over the past ten years, will be given to each attendee along with an event map and passport. Attendees are encouraged to visit a minimum of three properties and have their passport stamped in order to be entered into a drawing to win an iPad.
How the iPad raffle works
All registered attendees to the Downtown Albany Residential Open House who visit at least three residential units on the official Downtown Albany Business Improvement District’s Residential Open House and return a stamped passport program containing three different stamps, will be entered into a drawing to win an iPad. Entries can be dropped off at the BID office by 3:00 PM on Sunday, September 16, 2012 or via mail postmarked by Wednesday, September 19, 2012.
For every three stamps on the passport, an additional entry into the drawing will be made:
3 buildings visited / 3 stamps = 1 entry into the drawing
6 buildings visited / 6 stamps = 2 entries into the drawing
9 buildings visited / 9 stamps = 3 entries into the drawing
The maximum entries into the drawing for any (1) individual by building tour visits is three entries.
Additional entries into the drawing can be made by bringing receipts to the BID office that show a purchase at one of the businesses within the BID boundaries. For every $10 recorded on the receipt, one additional entry will be made into the drawing. Receipts must be dated for Sunday, September 16, 2012 and be turned into the BID office or postmarked by Wednesday, September 19, 2012.
The drawing will be made on Friday, September 21, 2012. You do not need to be present to win. Actual prize given will be a $500 gift card to the Apple Store. The Downtown Albany Business Improvement District is not responsible for any federal or state taxes associated with this contest or prize. All decisions are final.
