An improvised comedic parody of the hit Masterpiece classic, Downton Abbey.
Downton IB is an ensemble show that draws specific characters and themes from the PBS/BBC series Downton Abbey. Using inspiration from the audience, the ensemble explores themes and ideas beyond the normal Downton setting to create an unforgettably funny "episode" of the show, all the while maintaining plot points from previous episodes, paying homage to the genre (British?), and artistically playing into issues of status, gender, and beauty. Downton IB may not be quite as authentic as the original, but director Thomas Towell guarantees more laughs.
Featuring: Eric Frieden, Michele McNulty, Tim Stonelake, Holly Tarnower, Ben Sandler, Jeanne LeClare, Shawn Musgrave, John Serpico, Thomas Towell, Amy Click, Tim Jason, Alie Bornstein, Ari Stern, Amy Frizzi, Jack McNamara, Maura Costello, Annie Kozakiewicz, Steve Sarro
