Description
Historic Aldredge House Presents
A Downton Abbey Tea Fit for a Queen!
We'll begin with a presentation, "Entertaining Royalty at Highclere Castle," presented by Jann Mackey, Ph.D., to learn about famous people, aristocrats, and members of the British Royal Family who have visited Highclere Castle, the " real Downton Abbey."
After the talk, enjoy an elegant, seated, three-course tea, using recipes from Highclere Castle.
And to finish, tour Historic Aldredge House, the crown jewel of Dallas' Swiss Avenue Historic District. Built in 1917, the house is a premier example of Dallas' Gilded Age, when cotton and oil were king.
