In 2023 at COP 28 world leaders committed to doubling the rate of energy efficiency in service of critical net zero goals. As countries set their national climate plans and Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) targets ahead of COP30 in November, it’s time to bring proven solutions to the forefront. Leaders in emerging economies are pursuing innovative, effective solutions that are successful case studies and inspiration for national and regional policymakers to explore and implement.
This interactive happy hour event – featuring light snacks and drinks – will introduce audiences to multi-sector, Global South led efficiency solutions and provide a fun, personable setting to meet experts and likeminded international colleagues. Participants will engage with a panel of efficiency experts spanning sectors like appliances, buildings, and transportation through a brief introductory discussion and an interactive ‘around the world’ social format.
