Double Shot @ Books Upstairs
Description
DOUBLE SHOT is a series of poetry readings at the new Books Upstairs premises on D'Olier Street which will provide a platform for one emerging and one established poet to share their work. We place a special emphasis on poets from outside Dublin who have fewer opportunities to read here.
Our secnd line up on the 18th March features Angela Carr and Eleanor Hooker.
Angela T. Carr is a poet and writer, based in Dublin, with work published or forthcoming in a number of Irish and UK literary journals, including Mslexia, Abridged, Bare Fiction and Crannóg. Her debut collection, How to Lose Your Home & Save Your Life, was published in November 2014. More at www.adreamingskin.com
