Description

Welcome to DOUBLE EXPOSURE 2019!

Opening its milestone fifth edition, DOUBLE EXPOSURE offers a unique meeting ground for investigative journalists and filmmakers, featuring an extraordinary lineup of speakers, provocative panel discussions, master classes, a full day of hands-on workshops and special programming designed to connect and facilitate collaboration across disciplines.

DOUBLE EXPOSURE this year celebrates triumphs and tackles pressing issues at the intersection of film and journalism. Come for candid discussions about investigative ethics, the push to incorporate communities into the reporting process, working under conditions of fear and intimidation, strategies for building credibility through transparency in an age of mistrust and more. We’ll hear from the Miami Herald team whose groundbreaking reporting forced prosecutors to reopen the Jeffrey Epsteincase, and the directors working on a film on the same topic, from the creators of some of today’s most compelling investigative podcasts, including West Cork, In the Dark, and Dr. Death.

The festival's hugely popular signature programs DX Access, DX Pitch and Pro Bono Legal Clinic return. These sessions are custom-designed to advance your career or project, connecting you for face time with industry insiders. Through DX Access and DX Pitch, attendees may schedule private one-on-one meetings with industry leaders. For the full program, including speakers, visit https://doubleexposurefestival.com
