Are you looking for open and honest feedback on the recipes you’ve been creating? Come to Forage Kitchens Double Blind Taste Test, hosted with local nonprofit Kiva, and moderated by Iso Rabins of Forage Kitchen.
It’s almost impossible to get constructive feedback in the food world. More often than not you’ll get a “Wow! I wouldn't change a thing, that was tasty…” from friends and family, but (sorry to say) maybe it’s actually not all that tasty. Too much salt? Not enough butter? Let’s just be honest. Let’s just be real.…
Surprise us with your latest recipe here at Forage Kitchenin Oakland. You’ll be in the company of fellow food makers, all with a healthy appetite. There will be tastings, comment cards, and a feedback and comments section followed by group discussion.
We’ve teamed up with Kiva for this event due to their involvement and initiatives in providing local food entrepreneurs the opportunity to boost their business and strengthen their network. This event seeks to do just that. Enjoy some drinks while you’re at it…we hear it helps with the whole “honesty” part.
You ticket includes conversation and feedback on your recipe, the opportunity to try your peers’ recipes, and open conversation geared towards improvement. Beer and wine are also included.
Kiva is an international nonprofit organization that aims to connect people through lending initiatives that support families and communities. You can learn more about them HERE.
