The 112th Founders Day of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is an exciting celebration for members of the South Atlantic Region in Virginia. Each year, a financial donation is made to a local non-profit public service organization within the service area of the host chapter. This year, the donation will support Feed More, Inc. to address food insecurity in the wider Central Virginia community. Feed More is a proud member of Feeding America, Meals on Wheels America, and the Federation of Virginia Food Banks. Based on the most recent official data, 1 out of every 9 individuals (more than 165,000) in our service area face hunger and of that 1 in 6 children (over 50,500) are not eating enough. Feed More collects, prepares, and distributes food to provide hunger relief to neighbors in need throughout Central Virginia. Their comprehensive programs and Agency Network are dedicated to providing nourishment and hope to their neighbors facing hunger. Your monetary support for this organization is genuinely appreciated.
