Description

This Domestic Violence Training is a 4 module curriculum developed by the Maine Coalition To End Domestic Violence (MCEDV) and Mental Health Professionals. On September 10, Family Violence Project, the domestic violence resource center serving Kennebec and Somerset Counties, will be facilitating Modules 3 & 4 of this training.

Content was developed by the Maine Coalition to End Domestic Violence to meet the requirement for domestic violence training for Psychologists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors.

For more info about this legislation, click here: https://www.mainelegislature.org/legis/bills/bills_126th/chapters/PUBLIC262.asp

This training is $80.00. We believe this is important content for all mental health providers. Because of this, we do not want money to be a barrier to attending. If the fee is beyond your budget, you can choose the "Sliding Scale" ticket and pay what you can afford. If you are not able to pay, you can choose the "free" option.

If you would prefer to pay by check, you can choose the "free" option and mail a check to Family Violence Project, PO Box 304 Augusta, ME 04332-0304

The schedule for the day is as follows: Check in will be from 8-8:30. The Training will begin at 8:30. There will be an hour for lunch between 12 and 1pm and breaks given throughout the training. It will be completed at 4:15 with time for questions and filling out the evaluations until 4:30.
