This virtual event is hosted by the Fayetteville Area Community Veterans Engagement Board and the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Cape Fear Valley.
Domestic violence related incidents are on the rise due to COVID-19. Joint this event to learn about resources and the processes of organizations assisting individuals affected by domestic violence.
The rountable panel will discuss various scenarios including incidents involving active duty service members as well as veterans and civilian members of the community with various needs and different circumstances.
From these discussions we will see how cases are handled so we can all feel confident about referring people to these services.
Panelists will include representatives from :
Legal Aid NC
Army Community Service Family Advocacy
Fayetteville Police Department
Cumberland County Sheriff's Department
Intimate Partner Violence Program by the Veterans Administration
Department of Social Services
