Description

The Amarillo Potter Randall Domestic Violence Coalition is presenting the first Domestic Violence - Faith Community Summit. We will be providing a continental breakfast and lunch for all attendees. Attendance is limited to the first 100 participants. We will have representatives from the Potter Coutny Sheriff, Randall County Sheriff, Potter County Attorney, Randall District Attorney, 47th District Attorney, Amarillo Police Department and Family Support Services. Sessions include: Understanding Domestic Violence, Why Victims Stay, What Happens When Someone is Arrested, Protective Orders, and What Your Church Can Do to Stop Domestic Violence. Our final session will be a panel discussion, providing opportunity for participants to enjoy lunch while asking questions and hearing from the leaders of the above named organizations.
