Why is the Domestic Violence Awareness color purple?
Wear purple with a purpose! The color is meant to be a symbol of peace, courage, survival, honor, and dedication to ending domestic violence.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
The venure is located on the Red Line just steps away from the Brookland CUA Metro Station. In addition to street parking, there is a parking garage located a few blocks away (Monroe Street Market).
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Outside food and beverages will not be permitted.
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
No it is not transferrable
Will refreshments be served?
Guests will receive a complimentary beverage. Food will be available for purchase from the Smith Public Trust menu.
