Overall Domestic Violence is a terrible issue that wreaks havoc on families. We see that the devastation of DV has many victims, but from the Child Welfare lense we must look at harm and danger as they relate to the children in the home. Social workers in child welfare have a big task in front of them to not only protect children, but to do it through providing help and resources to the caregivers in order to have a holistically peaceful home that benefits everyone.
In this session Dr. Marino and his team of child welfare experts will share their experiences and offer clear guidance on a subject that can be very unclear.
