Doing It Right Series - April - Trademarks
Wed, Apr 26, 2017, 9:00 AM
The Doing It Right Series is a series of interactive workshops for entrepreneurs and small businesses focusing on 12 decision points (one for each month).
April's decision point is: Trademarks
As a start-up, entrepreneurs are beginning to build a reputation and intellectual property. One part of protecting these "assets" is registering a trademark. To do it right, entrepreneurs may want to protect their business name, company logo, and brand names within the business.
Come explore with Business Attorney, Aaron Hall how trademarks allow entreprenuers to invest in their brand and provide legal protection from competitors hijacking their brand with a confusingly similar name or mark.
Aaron Hall, CEO and Business Attorney, provides legal expertise and counsel for business owners. His legal practice includes business ownership issues, organizational restructuring, acquisitions, and strategic planning.
Aaron is inspired by working with CEOs and business owners - their entrepreneurial drive, creativity and lifelong learning, and passion to build something great. As a business attorney, he partners with company leaders to strategically grow companies and avoid legal pitfalls.
