Doggone Halloween in Downtown Crossing

Description
Halloween has gone to the dogs! The Downtown Boston BID and the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA) are co-sponsoring a Doggone Halloween costume parade. The parade will take place on Halloween Day, Friday, October 31st, from 12 to 2 pm in Downtown Boston. The event is free and open to the public.
Please arrive at One Summer Street by 12 pm. The parade starts at 12:30 pm and will include each canine contestent parading across a small stage with their owner, and small parade within the event space.
A panel of judges will determine three category winners shortly after the parade ends. The categories are: Cutest Costume, Scariest Costume, and Best Dog and Human Costume (think Scooby-Doo and Shaggy). All contestants will receive gifts for participation. The event ends at 2 pm.
Pre-registration is recommended, but not required, by requesting a free ticket from this invite. Due to space constraints, only 50 dogs will be allowed in the parade.
PLEASE NOTE: Your acceptance of a ticket is acknowledgement that you are 100% responsible for your dog, her/his behavior, and cleaning up after your dog. The Boston Common is the closest grassy spot near Downtown Crossing. It is recommended that you do not bring a dog who does not do well in a busy, urban environment, or doesn't get along with other dogs. By signing this Agreement, Adult on his/her own behalf and, if applicable, on behalf of Minor acknowledges the risks associated with the Activities and, as a condition to Participant engaging in any Activities agrees to (1) ASSUME ANY AND ALL RISKS OF INJURY to Participant or other parties as a result of their Pet while or as a result of participating in the Activity; (2) WAIVE, RELEASE, and NOT SUE, MAKE ANY CLAIMS OR FILE ANY ACTIONS against Downtown Boston Business Improvement District and each of their subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, shareholders, members, representatives, assignees, employees, volunteers and agents, as well as any Activity sponsors (hereinafter the “Indemnified Parties” collectively, the “Indemnified Party” individually) that are based on, arise or result from, in whole or in part, participation in any Activities; (3) INDEMNIFY, DEFEND AND HOLD THE INDEMNIFIED PARTIES HARMLESS, from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, losses or liabilities whatsoever arising from or related to participation in any Activity and any loss, damage or injury, including death, that may be sustained by Participant or caused to others or their property by Participant.
