Event Details

U.S. DOE's Office of Nuclear Energy will hold the annual Program Review for the Advanced Methods in Manufacturing program in Idaho Falls, ID, on October 4 & 5, 2017.  The workshop will be held at the Shiloh Inn Conference Center starting at 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, October, 4, 2017 and will conclude the afternoon of Thursday, October 5, 2017.  Principal Investigators from more than a dozen projects have been asked to present an update on their research, and their findings.  The projects cover welding and joining, construction, advanced and additive manufacturing, and inspection and qualification.  The goal of the AMM program is to support industry in improving schedule and lowering costs.  There is no fee to attend the AMM Workshop.

 

The AMM Workshop immediately follows the Nuclear Infrastructure Council’s Advanced Manufacturing Summit, which will be held on Tuesday, October 3, and the morning of Wednesday, October 4, 2017.  Registration for the NIC Summit is separate.  Both events will be held at the Shiloh Inn, in Idaho Falls.  NIC has arranged a special room rate at the Shiloh Inn, which is available to participants in either event.
