Special Screening of Dominican Republic "Hay un País en el Mundo" - Connolly Branch of the Boston Public Library

On Monday, April 1, the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) and Banco BHD León, in partnership with the Boston Public Library are inviting you to a special screening of a documentary about the Dominican Republic “Hay un país en el mundo” (There is a country in the world). This event is part of the Dominican Film Showcase.

About: "Hay un País en el Mundo"

Dominican documentary directed by José Pintor (Pinky) in 2017 and sponsored by Banco BHD-León. It takes its name from the famous Dominican poem by the renown Pedro Mir. It aims to celebrate the Dominican culture by presenting the Dominican identity from different perspectives.
