THIS IS SPECIAL CLASS WITH GUEST CHEF JOY CRUMP (owner of Foodē and featured on Top Chef). Chef Joy Crump will make an appearance to help inspire your budding chefs and teach some valuable lessons in the kitchen!
A kids cooking and tasting class (age 7-12) that focuses on a healthy, plant-based diet. Each class will focus on a different group of fruits and vegetables. Class will start with tasting different types of plant foods and learning about their different health benefits. Students will then prepare one or two dishes while learning basic cooking skills. The class will be taught by experienced Doctor Yum Project staff. Students will also be exposed to lessons about local food buying and growing.
**Parents are asked to drop of kids and pick them up at the end when we all taste our creations. Class runs from 1-3pm

This year we opened a new teaching kitchen in partnership with Yum Pediatrics, a practice dedicated to education and prevention of illness through a healthy diet.
