Learn How to Advance Your Career with a Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree from Seattle University.

Seattle University has options for students at a variety of experience levels to enter the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program with six areas of study available.

DNP for non-nurses with a bachelor’s degree - Advanced Practice Nursing Immersion (APNI). In 16 quarters of full-time study you can complete the requirements for RN licensure and the DNP in an advanced practice role.

DNP for nurses with a bachelor’s degree and RN. In 12 quarters you can complete the DNP and transition into an advanced practice role.

DNP for nurses with a master’s degree in nursing and RN or NP. Master's prepared nurses enter directly into a 10 quarter program leading to a clinical doctorate in nursing.

The Post-Graduate Certificate in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AG-ACNP) will also be covered in this session.

General topics that will be discussed include application requirements and process, focal areas of study, and typical DNP programs of study.

There will also be time provided to answer your questions about pursuing the DNP at Seattle University.
