What we’re doing & why: Tour to Guatape; a beautiful colorful town and nearby sightseeing-highlight "Piedra de Penol" this is only 2 of many stops on our tour in a van by the hand of a local, breakfast and lunch included, visit the rock, jump from a bridge and enjoy delicious food and views.
Guatape is a must-see destination when in Medellin, You will see and experience much more than going to Guatape on your own with the unique touch and authentic flavor Rafael your guide offers.
Additional if you choose to stay the night at Rafa´s cabin facing the lake; for dinner, he offers yummy pizzas around the fire pit, breakfast on Sunday morning, plus the use of kayaks from the cabin to the rock. Lunch will be a picnic in one of the lakes islands if the weather is not great at the cabin. After ride off to San Antonio to taste delicious traditionally homemade dessert, then visit El Retiro a sweet little town; you will capture all the essence the West side mountains of Antioquia have to offer.
What to bring: Energy and good vibes, a swimsuit, light jacket/ sweater (it gets cold and windy in the afternoon), money to buy souvenirs, sweets, snacks and the entrance to climb the rock, it is not included ($4usd approx), water. If you're staying the night at Rafa´s cabin consider extra clothes and personal items. Transportation between locations and back to Selina is fully covered.
Food & Drinks: Breakfast and Lunch are provided both days (vegetarian +vegan options) bring your own water and some snacks. If you are spending the night pizza is offered as dinner beverages and drinks (wine, beer, cocktails) are available at the cabin for a very reasonable price, lunch day 2 is a picnic in one of the lake islands.
**This is a private RY tour: a minimum of 12 people is needed to operate for the daily tour; price is $50usd per person anyone without a minimum requirement can spend the night for additional $110 USD. All transportation is included.
