Event description
Join us for the third annual Do Gooders Conference - featuring Keynote Speaker Dan Pallotta ! In person. Outdoors. July 13th, 2021.

About this Event

Fundraising is hard. Finding trainings that are applicable in the real world and figuring out how to use them without unlimited staff and budget is even harder. So we set out to create a fundraising conference that empowers those of us who fight “other duties as assigned” in order to do the one thing we love: telling stories and building relationships with donors.

This year we welcome Dan Pallotta as our 2021 Do Gooders Conference Keynote Speaker!

Dan Pallotta is an activist, humanitarian, author and builder of movements. He is a pioneer in the national effort to transform the way our culture evaluates the character and impact of nonprofit organizations.

His iconic TED Talk on philanthropy has been viewed more than five million times, and it THE talk nonprofit leaders discuss when reimagining how our own communities invest in our organizations.

We couldn't be more excited!

The Full 20201 Do Gooders Conference Speaker Lineup to be annouced soon!

2020 happened. That was fun, huh?

The world turned on it's collective head - and COVID-19 threw nonprofits for a loop. Uncertainty in uncharted territory had fundraising leaders needing help, direction, motivation and the tools to get through this global pandemic.

So we made a massive pivot - and became one of the first conferences to move online.

Not only did we reach individuals who are looking for answers but we added incredible speakers, and amazing perks to help support local restaurants, small businesses, artists and musicians!

We Supported Everyone. It Was Awesome.

Each person that registered had lunch delivered to them from a locally owned restaurant to help make sure we support those small businesses that are struggling as much as nonprofits are.

We had folks from over 15 different states and 4 countries sign up. Logistically, that was fun.

Additionally, we supported local (and regional!) artists and musicians who performed in between speakers. It was ridiculously fun.

Look What People Said About our 2020 Event!

"AMAZING DAY! It was good for the soul and the brain! <3"

"Thanks for all your efforts in putting together a great conference and changing to virtual on short notice. The mixture of speakers was great."

"Keep it up and bring more next year! Awesome job!"

"You got Vu frickin' Le AND Joan Garry to a conference in ND!!!"

"Amazing work! Great speakers, great information, spoke the truth about how things will look moving forward! Thank you all for your passion to invest in non-profits in our community!"

We've Got This

But you know what? My money says we're gonna be well on our way out of the COVID darkness by July.

So we're gonna have an IN PERSON event! Outside, in case we still need to physically distance and at a MASSIVE venue to give us space.

One Day.

One Unique Conference.

One killer way to change your mindset to an “Oh hell yeah I can do this!” attitude.

Our inaugural event was a smashing success from the diversity of topics, fantastic speakers, wonderful food, inviting atmosphere and attending to the little details. Our goal was to put on an event for nonprofit leaders that defied the norms of your typical conference – and it was a blast.

But we’re just getting warmed up. And in a time of crisis, we think that these messages and ideas need to be heard sooner than later to help get nonprofits of all size through these bizarre times!

We’re excited to bring you an event that leaves you a better nonprofit fundraising, board member or executive. And have a heck of a lot of fun doing it.

Welcome to the Do Gooders Conference. A fundraising training with practical advice, tips and tricks you can use the very next day to make organizations philanthropically awesome.

But...but what about the 'Rona?

We are glass half full kinda folks, and are under the assumption that even if this pandemic is still around, and bothering us, an outside event, with all the COVID-19 safety protocols in place, will be a safe environment for all.

Of course, things happen. And if they do, we'll have a back-up plan to make sure everyone stays healthy, and awesome. We will be working with local and regional health authorities to make sure we are doing good...when it comes to safety.

But let's put our optimism hats on dang it! Let's DO THIS!
