Event description

Description

DO Day on Capitol Hill, set for April 5, 2017, is an exciting opportunity for DOs and osteopathic medical students to come to Washington, DC and educate Members of Congress and their staff on who DOs are and why osteopathic medicine is so important. Registration for DO Day 2017 is open from January 9, 2017 through February 24, 2017.

Travel and lodging: Registrants should plan to be at the Ronald Reagan Building no later than 5:45 AM on April 5, 2017 - breakfast will be provided. The host hotel is the JW Marriott located across from the Ronald Reagan Building. The AOA has negotiated discounted rates for a block of rooms at the JW Marriott ($369/night) and the Willard Intercontinental ($389/night). The discounted rate is available until March 15, 2017 or until the group block sells out. We encourage attendees to make travel and lodging reservations as soon as possible - there are several large conventions in Washington, DC during the week of DO Day. For alternate hotels and more information about travel and lodging options, visit the DO Day FAQ page.
