Event description

Description

Join local DIY Expert Amanda Hendrix from Easy & Affordable DIY - Love & Renovations at our Round Rock ReStore as we create a handmade wall hook piece from repurposed pallet wood, the first event in our DIY Workshop Series.

Pallet wood wall hooks are perfect for entryways, mudrooms, laundry rooms, bathrooms and more. Use the piece to hang coats, bags or children’s backpacks or transform the piece in creative ways such as a coffee mug holder for the kitchen or a jewelry / hairbow hanger for a little girls room. At this workshop Amanda will demonstrate how to design the structure of the hook board as well as unique ways to embellish it using drawer pulls and knobs or by adding paint, stain, stencils, and more.

For just $5 you can customize your own using materials from the ReStore, ranging from vintage to shabby chic. By supporting the ReStore, you are helping more families achieve strength, stability and self-reliance through sustainable homeownership.

You must RSVP on Evenbrite to guarantee your spot for the event! *$5 donation will be collected at the event
