DIY Series: Chemistry & Cocktails
Thursday, July 18 | 5:30-7 p.m.
Creative Room | 1317 E. Sixth ST.
Free to attend | RSVP Required
The Do It Yourself series is hosted by the Sustainability Crew and features a variety of green DIY projects that will often focus on learning to live life greener by re-purposing everyday items and making earth-friendly choices.
Save a little on your grocery tab by making some every day household items yourself. You've seen them on Pinterest, posts about DIY laundry soap and stain remover, and now you can really test it out!
The July DIY will teach attendees how to make five different products they would regularly purchase in a super market or health food store. Okie Crowe, a Tulsa retailer specializing in handmade and eco-conscious items, will demo products.
The final element of Chemistry & Cocktails is, of course, the cocktails. In addition to mixing household items, Tulsa’s favorite bartender Noah Bush, of Hodges Bend, will be teaching people how to mix a few different cocktails.
