NYC Resistor member Shelby Arnold, a professional paper engineer (she designs pop-up books and cards!), will lead a class on making your own pop-up creations. You'll create a number of paper decorations and cards for the holidays and learn how to do designs yourself. Shelby will also cover how paper engineering can be applied to 3D objects -- see designs like the MOMA Store Cardinal Ornament for an example of how complex this can get.
You'll leave with a few creations you get to make yourself and plenty of ideas on how to make more!
