Description
Strong self-care practices help us to stay grounded, support the immune system, improve sleep and relieve pain. When we nourish ourselves, we are better able to nourish those around us. Through this 4-part series, you will become better able to balance your own rhythms, have more understanding of self and others, plus go home with health tips, recipes and hand-made natural health products.
May 1st – Health Basics: Learn about the world’s most ancient healing system, your constitution and how to maintain balance in life. Receive tips for better digestion, sleep, weight loss, pain relief and more. Sample some Ayurvedic healing food and tea.
May 8th - Oral Care: Learn the principles of Ayurvedic oral care and discover the value of herbs, spices, charcoal and oils in caring for your mouth and teeth. Make your own dental powder, rinse and toothpaste. Please BYO three small recycled jars.
May 15th - Self-massage: Learn about meridians, marmas, Ayurvedic oils and the benefits of massage. Discover how this ancient technique enhances longevity, improves sleep, increases circulation and relieves pain. Includes bottle of Organic Black Sesame Oil to take home.
May 22nd - Home Facial: Learn about skin types, Ayurvedic oils and relieve stress. In this workshop you'll experience a beautiful mini-facial on your hand plus facial massage and make products to take home. Please bring 2 small recycled jars.
