The festival will conclude with an amazing fireworks display on Geelong Waterfront.

Diwali is one of the most important Hindu festivals celebrated around the world, Diwali’s prevailing theme is the triumph of light over darkness, goodness over evil.
Diwali is celebrated in either October or November each year, depending on the cycle of the moon. It's observed on the 15th day of Kartik, the holiest month in the Hindu lunar calendar. Although festivities run for five days; the main celebration traditionally takes place on day three.
